Blogging Hiatus

I’m sorry for my blogging absence lately, but things have been super crazy around here.  I think I’m going to take a few more weeks off from blogging just to get everything back in order and possibly start some new exciting ventures.  I will try to post a few pictures now and then so for now, I’ll leave you with a picture of Miss Ellie from our road trip to South Dakota.

Puppia Dog Coat

Our little pug pup, Ellie, is in need of a new harness for fall and winter and I’ve got my eye on the Puppia Dog Coat for when it gets really chilly here in Wisconsin.  Now I’m just debating about color – should she go bold with red, classic with black, or more natural with brown?  She isn’t really the sort to wear army fatigues so we’ve already ruled that out!

Sluggish Summer

It has been ridiculously warm this entire week, making me want to come home after work and take a long nap with my pup and husband.  It doesn’t help that I am still feeling as though I should be thinking about wedding details every minute of the day despite my sister and her new husband being happily married and living in Cambridge, MA now.

I am definitely ready for the transition to fall because I am so much more productive once the weather cools down.  To get ready, I purchased a paid of maroon ballet flats to wear around.

Wedding Bells

We just got back from my sister’s wedding in Indiana yesterday and today I am taking a little time off to decompress.  My husband just took off on a flight bound for Texas for work so I am alone with the little pug today as I work on editing wedding photos.  Everything was so beautiful I don’t even know where to start!

Long Time No Blog

Things have been so crazy around here preparing for my sister’s wedding – it takes place exactly one week from today – that I haven’t found time to even think about blogging.  I’ll have plenty of her wedding details to share after the big day, but until then I’ll tide you over with these images from Hornbill Hill.

Headband Love

I am a huge fan of headbands so it should come as no surprise that I want to find one to wear to my sister’s rehearsal dinner.  Here are some of the cute ones I’ve stumbled upon.
